How long have you lived on the gold coast?
I have lived on the Gold Coast for 8 years. After I completed my Masters degree and worked in hospitality sector, I left Gold Coast for Sydney in 2009 to chase my fashion styling dream. After 4 years of the fast-paced life it made me realise that the city life did not suit me. I moved back
to the Gold Coast in 2013 with my then 2 year old son.
When did you join Lucy Cole?
I joined Lucy Cole in 2016. I am very grateful to work with Lucy Cole, having a family oriented company with plenty of support and guidance is an absolutely privilege.
What is your background prior to real estate
Before I came to Australia, I worked in property marketing and sales for 2 years, I went on to start a partnership business in the electrical trading sector. I was mainly involved in marketing, client relations and sales. After 5 years in marketing and sales career, I decided to upgrade my education and explore my dream overseas. I came to Australia/Gold Coast as a student in 2015 I understood very little English. Through extremely hard work, diligence and determination, in 18 months I attained a Masters degree in Human Resources Management and entered the hospitality industry working in the human resources department. Soon enough I found out my marketing and sales background was calling me back and I decided to extend my creativity work in luxury fashion industry, becoming high profile fashion stylist and one of the top sales achiever in the company.
What do you like about the industry?
The constant challenge is what I like about this industry! My enthusiasm and genuine interest in the property market has brought me back into real estate. With over 12 years sales and marketing experience, I have developed outstanding people skills, negotiation skills and a unique sales technique. Real estate allows me to make use of my good natured, outgoing, honest and friendly personality to meet my clients best interests.
What motivate you every day?
Being brought up in an extremely disciplined Asian family, I deeply understand you only get out what you truly put in, if you want something good in life the only way is to work hard. I am also mother of a 5 year old boy. I often tell my son there is nothing impossible in life if you have the courage and right attitude, anything is possible.
What is the feedback from your clients?
My friendly, genuine helpful approach have earned me a 5 star service reputation. Property purchasers and owners can expect honesty, ethical and efficient service from me. I will go out my way and reach out extra mile to get the best result possible for my clients. Majority of my clients were from referrals. My very recent over a million sale at Stargazer place in Clear Island Waters represents this with the Hong Kong based buyer stating that I am very honest, respectful, helpful and hard working. He stressed that he worked with many other Asian agents in the past, my approachable and genuine approach attracted him to purchase property from me.
Beyond business, what are some of your pastimes or interests?
I am a very active person, I love yoga, hiking, beach walking, movies, cooking and dining out.
I try to balance my exercise between my work and my family life. Living on the Gold Coast is just a blessing.
